The external pilot phase of the MICR@S project represents a significant step in testing its innovative methodologies and digital tools. Across various countries, this phase engaged students in hands-on workshops focused on fostering entrepreneurship, collaboration, and inclusiveness. Each pilot was tailored to the unique needs of the participating communities, showcasing the adaptability and impact of the MICR@S approach.

On October 24, 2024, the Belgo-Italian Chamber of Commerce, the coordinator of the Micr@S project, hosted the consortium in Brussels for the project‘s final meeting. This event marked the conclusion of a long 24-month journey in which partners worked to promote entrepreneurial skills to be delivered to students, educators, and organizations across Europe.
Review of results
During the meeting, project partners evaluated the activities and results achieved during the project’s duration. Micr@s provided a unique opportunity to inspire young minds between the ages of 12 and 18 to think creatively and sustainably, promoting skills that will be useful in their academic and professional futures.
One of the highlights of the project’s conclusion was the European Micr@s Startup Cup Competition, where partners presented the winning business proposals from the national contest, created during the project’s external pilot testing phase.
After careful evaluation by the jury composed of the project partners, the following projects emerged as winners:
The competition’s focus on sustainability not only reflects Micr@s Project values, but also provides students with critical thinking and entrepreneurial skills to address global challenges. The winning projects exemplify the creativity and commitment of young Europeans in creating a positive impact on their communities and the planet.
At the end of the Micr@s Project, the partners expressed their gratitude for the collaboration and efforts that led to the success of the initiative. The results of the project will now be bequeathed to schools across Europe and stakeholders in education, creating a lasting impact on the way young people approach learning and problem solving.
